I mentioned in my previous post – Mrs S LDN Update that I wanted to start this series.
I don’t know about you, but I spend nearly more time on other people’s blogs, social media accounts, Facebook pages and groups than I do my own. For me this is not a bad thing, it’s the beauty of this blogging world! It would not be half as much fun if it was just me and a keyboard. I need to interact, investigate, learn and snoop!
I have met some awesome people and learned a hell of a lot from them. This series is a Thank you of sorts. A look who I found and how they helped / inspired / moved me in whatever way it was. It’s also, I hope, a way for me to give back. It’s just no fun doing these things solo!
So each month I’ll be picking out these kind of people and there pages / blogs / Pinterest boards, social media links etc so they in turn can also help you with your growth and movement in our journey to being better bloggers!
(It will also give me an excuse / valid reason for sitting down to have a little snoop at others and then look up 3 hours later being like ahhhh. This happens way to many times 🙂 )
So….. Let’s get Lost in a World made of books, coffee and rainy days!
Angela @ Life Of Angela
About Angela: Hi! I’m Angela. I’m 25 and happily married to my best friend. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I blog daily about my thoughts, travels, and my life in general.
Angela posts EVERY day….. That in itself is an inspiration to me. I can barely get my s*#t together for two a week! Angela covers anything and everything. She gets involved in a number of series and is always so welcoming and encouraging to her fellow bloggers. You can so see why she has over 1000 followers!
If you are new to this world you need to check her out! As Angela covers so many things you will be able to dip in and out of all her topics and learn different ways of doing things. She has a number of different writing styles that will give you so many ideas you’ll burst!
When I’m brain storming I always keep Angela @ Life Of Angela in mind!
Linda @ Olive and Clo
About Linda: Just to give you a basic glimpse into my life, I work full-time as a business analyst, I am 27-years-young, I am engaged with my partner of 9 years, I have a tertiary background in chemical engineering, I am paying off an exuberant mortgage and I am the mother of two high-maintenance fur-babies, Winter and Blue.
Linda is the blogger you wanna be like…. She’ll wet herself laughing at this but I’m serious! Her blog is super crisp and the photos her and her fiancé Rhett take will give you serious envy! When I’m taking my blog pics I think of these two!
Linda writes with brutal honesty and tells you like it is. She dishes the dirt on how exactly she comes about getting all their photos, how harsh people’s comments can be when your just trying to do your best and she’s just plain fun with her writings.
It’s because of Linda I now plan my posts with pictures very much to the forefront of my mind!
Emma @ Hello Foxy
About Emma: Hello Foxy is a France-Based fashion and lifestyle blog that focuses on encouraging women to be the best damn version of themselves. Through this blog, I hope to inspire girls and women to build their own form of self confidence and have the courage and determination to achieve their goals.
Emma is so encouraging and inspiring when it comes to blogging. She’s also a great help if you want to monetize your blog! She explains it very simply and also shares with you what her blog achieves monthly.
Emma makes you wanna better your blog in every aspect and I love her for this!
Have you got your head around this for growing your blog?? If so, we need to hang out pronto!! Me, I’m getting there. Are you following me? Am I following you? Let me know your link in the comments if I’m not!
This month my goal was to figure this bad boy out! In the process of doing this I’ve been looking into Pinterest Group Boards a lot! I have quite literally been Alice down the rabbit hole on these. Wanna find a way to kill endless amount of hours?? Step right up! I have learned so much over the last two months, more on this coming soon in my next series!
One board as I mentioned was Emma’s, linked above. Another I found to be extremely helpful is
Suzie’s Boards – Share Your Blog has been a treasure trove for me. It’s also been a good way for me to find new blogs, of all categories. Susie also has her own board with all her best posts from the last 2 years : Suzie Speaks Blog Posts. Here I found posts on getting the most out off your blog and super tips on Facebook groups, hash tags, comments and commenting, your about page, and everything else you could ever need!
Thanks to Suzie I have now set up a board on my own Pinterest account to save down post’s I’ve enjoyed reading, all in the name of sharing is caring!! Follow if you fancy another outlet to find new bloggers and posts! Find it here, Mrs S. – Blogs to Look Out For!
Another handy Pinterest Page I’ve fallen upon is Terryn | Just A Simple Home
If you fancy looking into Pinterest Group Boards more you need to check out Terryn’s post on them. Ultimate List of Pinterest Group Boards. After this you’ll have no excuse as to where to go to find them 🙂 I book marked this page a week ago and since then have opened it everyday! It’s been so handy navigating this aspect of Pinterest!
I hope you enjoyed July’s Edition of Snoop Snoop! I’ll be doing it mid month, every month!
Let me know what you think and if any of the above has helped you! Any feedback is much appreciated 🙂 If you have anything in particular you would like to see in this series let me know, would love to help out in any way I can!
Lots of Love….
