“Yes, London. You know: fish, chips, cup ‘o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary Poppins… LONDON.” -Dennis Farina ‘Snatch’
Known locally as the Walkie-Talkie, the 38-storey building is the fifth tallest completed building in the City of London. It provides 690,000 sq foot of office space with floorplates that get larger in size as the floors go up, occupied by some of the world’s leading-edge businesses, at a landmark address for London. London’s Sky Garden
This London City Location is one of our favourite spots to bring friends and family when they come visit us. Views of London as far as the eye can see. On a clear day you can even make out our house in Greenwich.
It’s located quite central by BANK tube station so for sightseeing its a great starting point or finishing point to your day. Spitalfields Market, London Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral are all in walking distance of the Gardens. I have been in the day & at night and both are just as awesome as each other.
The Sky Garden is a 360 degree view of London. It covers 3 floors and has an open terrace and a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. It is London’s highest public garden. Prices in the sky are a little high so if you do plan to eat or drink there check out the menus online before hand. Just so you don’t get any nasty surprises.
The best thing about this site seeing tour is it’s FREE entry when you book online! How cool is that?! You can book your tickets here. The ticket gets you 1 hour access, per person, to the Sky Garden. Walk in’s on the day are accepted during certain times but they are on a first come first served basis and tickets are limited.
If you live in London or are planning to come and visit, this place is one I would highly recommend!
